The musicians of St. John Vianney strive to elevate the Mass through music that reflects the beauty and truth of God's word. The music ministry is always seeking new members - if you sing or play an instrument, and are looking for a way to help make Mass beautiful, please join us!
The Music Ministry meets every Wednesday at 7pm and sings at the 9am and 11am Sunday Masses. To join, simply come to the music room (St. Mary Magdalene room) on any Wednesday rehearsal. We look forward to seeing you!

Yes, attending rehearsals regularly is a must for any choir who wants to harmonize well. Occasional absences for illness, emergencies or vacation are ok, but please speak with the director ahead of time.
No, there are other opportunities to provide our music through the year: a Christmas concert, Holy Days of Obligation, Holy Week Triduum, and more.
Cantors or Instrumentalists. We are always looking for instrumentalists of all kinds! Please contact Bryn Ryan for more information.
A Cantor leads the congregation directly in singing at a Mass, and intones the Psalm and Alleluia before bringing in the congregation to sing a response. A cantor may also sometimes be called upon to perform solo, or to take on section-leader roles within the choir for larger events.
Bryn is happy to help! Come by a rehearsal or reach out!
